FundPoint is a B2B data management platform used by financial teams to handle imports, exports, clients, and partner data all in one place. My role was to redesign the entire application: take a cluttered, technically-functional interface and turn it into a product that actually feels intentional without stripping out the complexity that power users depend on.
The original interface had everything — but nothing was easy to find.
The challenge wasn’t just making it look better. It was making it work better for people with completely different needs across every single screen.
Starting from zero, I built a complete visual identity and shopping experience around one idea, that a handmade rug should feel special before it even arrives at your door.
I replaced the flat blue-dominant palette with a structured system built on a deep red and white base, reserving color for meaning, not decoration. Gradient accents replaced flat fills to create depth without adding visual noise. Every screen in the app follows the same visual logic.
One of the biggest structural changes was splitting the main dashboard into two distinct views: Technical and Business. A simple toggle lets users switch between a data-heavy technical layout and a higher-level business overview, same data, completely different framing.
Beyond the dashboard, every section of the app was redesigned — Tickets, Partners, Data Catalogue, Product Value, Global Rules, Export Templates, and File Management. Each screen was rebuilt with consistent spacing, clearer labels, and a component system that makes the whole product feel like one cohesive thing
Stat cards, tables, charts, and navigation were all rebuilt from scratch. Every component follows the same visual rules so the interface feels like a system, not a collection of disconnected parts.
Every screen redesigned, from the dashboard to file management, built into one consistent product
Technical and Business modes tailored to two distinct user types, switchable in one click
A refined color system where every decision carries meaning, not just style
Rebuilt UI components with consistent spacing, hierarchy, and visual logic across the entire app
FundPoint is a tool that does a lot — and that’s exactly what makes it hard to design. The original product had the functionality, but the experience of navigating it felt like work on top of work. The redesign focused on making every part of the application feel approachable, no matter how deep the feature set goes. Consistent patterns, clear hierarchy, and purposeful use of color across every screen meant that whether you’re managing export templates or digging through the data catalogue, the interface never fights you. The complexity is still there — it’s just no longer in the way.
